embarcais no serviço de Deus!

Bom Dia

This week was good. Sister Muria and I are crazy together and we've been working hard here in Pombal and using sunscreen. Friday we had interviews with Presidente Soares which was really great! He spoke to us four about D&C 4 and especially verse 5 that says:

5 And faith, hope, charity and love, with an eye single to the glory of God, qualify him for the work.

And so without these essential attributes we really aren't qualified for the work. It's not that we should have faith, but that we NEED faith, we NEED hope, we NEED charity!!!! It's always really nice to be able to talk to Presidente:)

Also, this week we had a family home evening with a really good turnout and a lot of cake. We also brought 3 investigators which made it even better:)

Be happy and share the gospel!

spiritual light and sunlight

Queridos,

This week was goooooooooood. Full of sunshine and hard work.

I don't have time to write a lot again. Oops. But we had the baptism of Felipe this week which was really special experience. Sister Muria is one of those people that I just know I knew in a previous life and we're really loving being here in super hot Pombal together. It's already been really great to have such special moments feeling and testifying of the Spirit with her and the people here.

God cares about you. He will listen, and He will answer your personal questions. The answers to your prayers will come in His own way and in His own time, and therefore, you need to learn to listen to His voice. God wants you to find your way back to Him, and the Savior is the way. God wants you to learn of His Son, Jesus Christ, and experience the profound peace and joy that come from following the path of divine discipleship.

-President Dieter F. Uchtdorf

read your scriptures:)

the sister show

I was transfererred this week!!

I'm here in Pombal, Paraíba!! I'm not even in Rio Grande do Norte anymore! My new comp is Sister Muria from Gravataí, Rio Grande do Sul and we're wayyyyyyyy pumped. I only have a couple days here in Pombal, but you know that feeling when you know you've arrived at home and everyone in the street stops to say hi? That's almost the feeling here. Don't get me wrong, I love Natal, but there's just something about being in the interior, the smell of cows and goats, and people that love you and the gospel.

Pombal is a little city in the middle of nowhere that makes me feel like I'm living in the Truman Show. The Sister Pace Show? But really we've already been able to talk to a family and they are marked for baptism this month. Also, I've been able to get to know a bunch of recent converts and members that are super friendly. It's a branch here, not a ward.....yet. And I'm way excited to work with Sister Muria to help strengthen the members here:)

Another great thing that happened is that Sister Cunha is my sister training leader!!! yayayaya this is her last transfer so i'll get to see her before she "dies". Querida da mamãe!!

Soooooooooooooooooo much love, happiness, cuscuz, and sunshine for all of you too!!
